In May of 1996, a group of dedicated individuals including pilots and non-pilots formed the Shiloh Pilots Association. Our primary objective at the onset was to promote not only general aviation in Rockingham County, but the airport facility itself as a county asset. As it turns out, to this date, our objectives and programs have been well developed and have become a service to our community and surrounding areas.
The Shiloh Pilots Association has sponsors the Shiloh Air
Show.
This event has drawn as many as 8000 spectators. All profit and money generated from
this event go back to the community as donations and other forms of support.
Other activities and programs sponsored and supported by the Shiloh Pilots Association are fly-ins and support of our resident EAA Chapter 3 Vintage Aircraft and Chapter 8.
